She’s written and performed in her own 2003 play Island Girls, for which the NZ Herald named her one of the country’s best young writers. She showcased her comedy skills on animated comedy series bro’Town and the feature film Sione’s Wedding, as well as its sequel. Other popular Kiwi works Teuila has starred in include Filthy Rich, Outrageous Fortune, and its prequel Westside. More recently, Teuila has starred in Prime TV’s drama series The Brokenwood Mysteries. During her time on Dancing With The Stars, Teuila chose Women’s Refuge as her charity, which led to her becoming an ambassador for the cause.
