Profile

MC, Presenter, TV & Radio Host
Kanoa Lloyd (Ngāti Porou) is already a star in New Zealand television, as well as being a warm, dynamic and versatile event MC. Kanoa’s media career began while she was still at high school, when she presented on children’s TV show Squirt. Since then, she has worked on the long-running after school series Sticky TV, been a newsreader at popular radio station Mai FM and been a TV presenter on Four. Kanoa became headline news herself while working as weather presenter at 3 News, when she introduced Te Reo into the segment.
Currently, Kanoa is a host of TV3’s primetime show The Project, which is on weeknights at 7pm. Her role on The Project sees her delivering pieces to camera, ad-libbing with her co-hosts, chatting with guest panellists and conducting interviews both in studio and on the field. In 2022 Kanoa has been invited into New Zealander’s homes with the brand new series Sort Your Life Out, heading up a team of experts to help find calm in the most chaotic Kiwi homes. In 2017, she was nominated in the Best Presenter: News & Current Affairs category at the NZ TV Awards.
