Profile
Dynamic Speaker & Adventurous MC
Clarke Gayford is an accomplished broadcaster, presenter and host who has been on television for two decades. While studying at the NZ Broadcasting School, Clarke Gayford successfully pitched his very first TV project, Cow TV, to Dunedin’s Channel 9. He’s worked as a presenter for music channel C4, United Travel Getaway and Extraordinary Kiwis, as well as competing on reality show Treasure Island! Clarke has also hosted and presented on a number of radio channels, including More FM and George FM. However, it’s no secret that Clarke’s life-long passion is fishing, which led him to launch Choice TV show Fish of the Day, which he hosted for over 5 years now. When he’s not spearfishing, Clarke has filled in as host on Seven Sharp and RNZ’s The Panel or being an awesome dad to his daughter Neve. In 2017, Clarke became NZ’s “first-man” when his partner Jacinda Ardern became Prime Minister. A classic Kiwi bloke with a seriously fascinating life, Clarke brings his down-to-earth and fun loving nature to every production he works on.
