If you think you’ve seen Nicole Whippy somewhere, you probably have! With an acting career that spans over 20 years, Nicole has appeared in countless NZ television series. In her early years, Nicole landed roles in series such as "Xena: Warrior Princess", "The Strip" and "Mercy Peak." However, she won the hearts of NZ television audiences with her six-season stint playing 'Kasey Mason' in hit NZ comedy-series "Outrageous Fortune." She continued to entertain viewers in the popular TVNZ drama series "Nothing Trivial" where performance earned her a nomination for a Golden Nymph for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. In 2019, Nicole joined the core cast of NZ's longest-running television drama series, "Shortland Street" playing the character of 'Cece King.' More recently, she tried her hand at directing, making her directorial debut with the acclaimed portmanteau feature film "Vai", alongside eight other Pasifika directors. Outside of her own acting career, Nicole is founder of and teacher at Point Chevalier Drama Club, an acting school for young people. A proud mum of two daughters, she enjoys sharing her life behind the camera across her social media, whether it be at home or in the green room. Nicole’s achievements in the world of arts are truly inspiring and the reason why she is so loved by her audiences.
