Sophie McIntosh is an actress whose career spans international film, television, and theatre. She is best known for her lead role as 'Ava' in the action-thriller "No Way Up", alongside key roles in ABC/Apple TV comedy series "Bad Sisters", "Brave New World" for Amblin/DreamWorks, and the BBC's "Last Tango in Halifax." Earlier New Zealand screen credits include "Shortland Street", where she made her television debut at "16", "Cul de Sac", and the Chinese-New Zealand feature film Into the "Rainbow." In 2025, Sophie appeared with the Royal Shakespeare Company in "Hamlet", further expanding her work across both screen and stage.
