Career Highlights

Murdoch is an Auckland born actor who began their television career at the age of 10 with a role in Ian Mune’s great depression drama Life’s a Riot, after that they continued to perform making their stage debut in ATC’s Lord of the Flies in 2013. Upon turning 18 they started a career as a drag queen performing often as the glamorous and stupid Murella. Murdoch has a passion for creating their own work which they went on to develop at Toi Whakaari the New Zealand drama school graduating in 2021. Murdoch believes in the future of acting as a medium to transcend the barriers that define us, be it gender, class or sexuality.
