Manawanui comes from a family of creatives making her a natural on the screen. In 2020, Manawanui appeared in the acclaimed first season of "The Wilds" as Young Martha and has made appearances in local NZ web series "Ahikāroa" as well as the television feature soon to air, "Into the Mist" as Ani. Manawanui is fluent in Te Reo. She played as the voice of Rangi in “Island of Mystery”, also voicing a tourism campaign, showcasing the beauty in Aotearoa called "Papatūānuku (Our Earth Mother) is Breathing" for ATEED.
