Manawanui comes from a family of entertainers making her a natural on the screen. In 2020, Manawanui appeared in the acclaimed first season of The Wilds as Young Martha and has made appearances in local NZ web series Ahikāroa as well as the television feature soon to air, Into the Mist as Ani. Manawanui is fluent in Te Reo and voiced a tourism campaign, showcasing the beauty in Aotearoa called Papatūānuku (Our Earth Mother) is Breathing for ATEED
