Career Highlights
Lynette received a Bachelor of Arts in at the Queensland University of Technology and trained in acting at Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney in the 1990s. Following this, she broke new ground in New Zealand television becoming one of the first Asian actors to land a lead role on a primetime show with her role as 'Dr. Grace Kwan' on long-running hospital soap "Shortland Street." She quickly gained national attention and soon became a household name in New Zealand, later starring as the lead in drama series "Ride with the Devil." Other screen credits include television series "800 Words" and "The Brokenwood Mysteries", along with feature film "Film 3." Outside of acting Lynette has worked as a reporter, journalist and writer.
