Career Highlights
With an acting career that spans over 20 years, Edwin has been a part of a succession of important New Zealand film and television productions. He has appeared in notable lead roles in three telefeatures based on some of New Zealand’s most significant events, playing cop Greg Giplin in Erebus: Operation Overdue, Detective Williams in In Dark Places, and Peter Plumley Walker in Mistress, Mercy. Other film credits include supporting roles in Lee Tamahori’s Mahana and UK-New Zealand co-production Slow West, as well as a lead role in the feature film Matariki. In television, Edwin has had prominent roles in Jane Campion’s Top of the Lake, Netflix’s Roman Empire, and BBC’s production of The Luminaries.
