Career Highlights
Cian is a New Zealand-Māori actress, who trained at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, where she won the prestigious Museum Hotel Scholarship for Acting, as well as being the youngest entrant to the school at age 17. Since graduating, Cian has worked back to back in national and international theatre, television and film. Notable screen credits include BBC’s US series Tatau, a core cast role in three seasons of New Zealand-Australian series 800 Words, and a role in the fifth season of popular Kiwi series The Brokenwood Mysteries. A versatile talent, Cian has also worked as a playwright, with her play Te Puhi becoming a finalist for the 2015 New Zealand Play of the Year for the Adam Awards.
