Cian Elyse White Actor Profile

Cian Elyse White is a New Zealand–Māori actress and playwright who graduated from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, where she was awarded the prestigious Museum Hotel Scholarship for Acting and was the youngest entrant accepted into the programme at age 17. Her screen credits include lead and core cast roles in the New Zealand-Australian hit series "800 Words" (Seasons 1–3), the BBC drama "Tatau", "Vegas", "Into the Mist", "My Life Is Murder", and "The Brokenwood Mysteries." Feature film credits include "Cousins." A versatile performer across stage and screen, Cian has appeared with Auckland Theatre Company and toured internationally with Mau Theatre Company. As a playwright, her work "Te Puhi" was a finalist for the Adam New Zealand Play Award, while her theatre work has also been recognised through Chapman Tripp Award nominations and wins.
