Career Highlights

Bruno Hart is a New Zealand actor and recent graduate of The Actors’ Program, bringing a quietly magnetic presence to both screen and stage. Drawn to storytelling that’s a little offbeat and emotionally honest, Bruno is known for roles that blend depth with a certain dreamlike edge. He recently wrapped filming on the feature film Insula directed by Alex Plumb, whose previous film Jane Campion chose as NZ Best at NZIFF, bringing an eccentricity and undercurrent vulnerability to the role. In 2023, he starred as Michael in the short film Nokia Low, a visceral piece that has gained significant traction on YouTube and showcased his natural ability to connect with audiences. Other recent credits include the ghost punk Eddy in Imaginary Friends (Sitges Film Festival), the short film Mary Mary and the theatre production The Welkin. With a background in drama, physical theatre, and improvisation, Bruno brings a thoughtful, intuitive energy to each role. Always open to the unexpected, and always in pursuit of pushing himself into new terrain.
