Ben Baker is a Samoan–New Zealand actor with a career spanning film, television, theatre, voice work and presenting. A familiar face on New Zealand screens for over two decades, Ben is recognised for his versatility as a performer and his ability to move seamlessly between dramatic and comedic roles. Ben is perhaps best known for his role as 'Samson Silesi' in the long-running legal drama "Street Legal", where he appeared across three seasons as a core cast member. He later joined the main cast of television series "Orange Roughies" and "Karaoke High." His feature film credits include roles in beloved Kiwi and Pasifika productions such as "Sione’s Wedding", "Matariki", and "The Other Side of Heaven 2: Fire of Faith." Earlier in his career, he also appeared in the international action film "The Extreme Team." Alongside his screen work, Ben has maintained a strong presence in theatre, performing with Auckland Theatre Company in "The Songmaker’s Chair" under the direction of Nathaniel Lees, as well as appearing in productions including "Young Baron" and "Fire Mountain." Ben's work also extends into voice acting and presenting, with credits including Ubisoft's "Far Cry 3", voice campaigns for The Warehouse, and presenting duties on Māori Television's "Homai Te Pakipaki."
