Brodie Kane

Profile

Radio & Television Personality/ MC & Host

Brodie is currently based in her home city of Christchurch and is working through some very exciting projects, like the re-launch of her very successful podcast, The Girls Uninterrupted (previously Girls On Top) and is also working on a number of content creation projects for various brands and within the media industry too. Brodie loves to keep busy with MC duties, public speaking, basically anything thrown at her.

An award-winning journalist, Brodie has loved every minute of the 12 years she's had in radio and television. Her no-nonsense yet down-to-earth approach is unique in the industry and you can be guaranteed that what you see is what you get.

She was up until recently co-hosting The Hits Breakfast show in Christchurch with Dave Fitzgerald. Prior to that Brodie worked at TVNZ for five years working as a sports Presenter on Breakfast, a roving reporter on Seven Sharp, reporter on Fair Go and associate producer on Q+A. Brodie is incredibly fit thanks to her background in Surf Life Saving, but also has a bit of mental toughness thanks to a four-year stint in the Territorials of the NZ Army. She now loves the challenge of long distance events, running her first marathon in Auckland in 2018, and completing the team event of the Coast to Coast in 2020 with her mother and brother (her third year involved in the race)! Brodie loves talking and is incredibly passionate about engaging with people all around New Zealand.

Tairawhiti Sports Awards Dinner Nov 2018

Brodie was ideal for the Sports Awards and had some local insight into Tairawhiti having been in surf life saving here. She held the audience and kept the evening on track and was able to read the presenters on stage throwing in a bit of light humour. Evening was a huge success, thanks Brodie.
