Well-known TV presenter, Radio DJ, and actress Shavaughn Ruakere is already a familiar face to many New Zealanders. In her early career, Shavaughn worked on NZ children’s television show What Now. Following this, she travelled to the UK, where she was chosen to work as a presenter for ITV’s Saturday morning children’s show SMTV. While working there she was lucky enough to interview some of the world's biggest names such as Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, and Brittany Spears. On her return to NZ, Shvaugn landed a role as core-cast member Roimata Ngati on NZ’s most popular TV drama Shortland Street. Throughout this time, Shavaugn has built up a dedicated fan base - many who follow her day to day life on her social media. Shavaughn has always embraced her Māori heritage and enjoys exercising and travelling around New Zealand. Shavaughn spreads positivity wherever she goes.
