Lucas de Jong was a Sir Edmund Hillary Scholar at the University of Waikato when he completed his undergraduate qualification. So we were thrilled when he was able to take the time to return to campus and MC our annual Blues awards function. The Blues awards evening is one of the University's premier annual events where we acknowledge the success of our talented artists and sportspeople. Despite his busy working schedule Lucas was keen to be involved and delivered an accurate, entertaining and witty MC performance. It was great to have him back, and I would thoroughly recommend him for any MC work.
