Julian Wilcox, first hit NZ airwaves with Maori Television 2004. In the last decade, he's presented and produced a range of shows, including fronting the highly-praised ANZAC Day coverage and Native Affairs. In 2012, he won Best News or Current Affairs Presenter ahead of TV3's John Campbell and Mike McRoberts at the Aotearoa Film and Television Awards. Julian Wilcox (Ng?puhi) previously held the General Manager Communications role before being appointed as COO of K? Pakitua in February 2016. Julian worked for M?ori Television for more than 10 years, in various roles, notably as General Manager, News and Current Affairs, where he managed a large team of staff providing strategic and operational leadership in a fast-paced environment.While broadcasting has been a key focus of his career, Julian has also lectured in te reo, tikanga, whaik?rero and media. He is committed to M?ori development and achieving wh?nau rangatiratanga, and has a passion for all things M?ori. Julian is just as relaxed, professional and friendly off screen. He is an experienced MC & host and would be perfect for your next event.
