Career Highlights
South African-born actor Ido Drent caught the attention of New Zealanders in 2009 with his on screen debut as core cast member Daniel Potts on iconic Kiwi drama series Shortland Street, which he played for three years. Following this, Ido landed a role across the ditch in Australian comedy-drama series Offspring. Ido went on to score leading roles in New Zealand ANZAC movie When We Go to War, and in the second season Netflix series Roman Empire. Other screen credits include US television series The Making of the Mob: Chicago, and Ash vs Evil Dead. Most recently, Ido has appeared as leading character Detective Justin Harding in two seasons of New Zealand series The Gulf.
